Postdoc position at Linköping University in the NEST project STING – Synthesis and analysis with Transducers and Invertible Neural Generators. The project is a collaboration between Linköping University, KTH and Umeå University and is funded by WASP.

Work assignments

As postdoc, you will principally carry out research. A certain amount of teaching may be part of your duties, up to a maximum of 20% of working hours.

STING aims to design models that capture the richness of human communication by connecting concrete, continuous-valued sensory data, such as images, sound, and motion, with abstract, predominantly discrete semantic representations.

Within STING you will mostly work with the development and adaptation of large language models for languages with limited resources.

The workplace

You will work in the Natural Language Processing Group within the Division for Artificial Intelligence and Integrated Computer Systems (AIICS).
