The 2024 WASP-WISE symposium on Machine Learning for Materials and Molecular Discoveries (ML2MD) seeks to highlight some of the key research developments at the interface of machine learning and materials of the past couple of years, focusing on the following themes:

  1. Generative AI for Materials and Molecules
  2. ML-accelerated Simulations
  3. Automation, Experiments, and Machine Learning
  4. Foundation Models for Materials and Molecules

The symposium is organized by Assistant Professor Rocío Mercado Oropeza (Chalmers) and Associate Professor Chao Zhang (Uppsala University).
