Background

The Department of Computing Science, Umeå University, seeks to broaden its competence to the area of Automated Software Engineering by recruiting a full professor. The position comes with a substantial recruitment package from the Wallenberg AI, Autonomous Systems and Software Program (WASP). The package includes funding for two PhD students (four years each) and two post docs (two years each) in addition to running costs. The position guarantees 75% research time during the first six years.

Duties

Your duties include research, education, and collaboration with the software industry. Your research is expected to focus on technical aspects of automated software engineering. We expect you to establish a research group capable of sustaining its research largely on external funding after the initial six years startup period.
