Subject area
The subject area for this position is machine learning for computer vision and/or robotic perception. There are two main research themes: explainability and interpretability for computer vision; and long-term robotic perception and learning. The successful candidate should have a solid theoretical background in machine learning or computer vision. Experience in explainability and interpretability for computer vision, or experience in applying machine learning and computer vision to robotic perception, is relevant but not mandatory.
Background
The researchers are to be based at Örebro University’s Center for Applied Autonomous Sensor Systems (AASS), which carries out multi-disciplinary research at the intersection of robotics, machine learning, artificial intelligence, computer vision, and computer science. The project is part of the Wallenberg AI, Autonomous Systems and Software Program (WASP).
