PhD student position in Communication Systems at the Department of Electrical Engineering, Linköping University.

About the position

The planned research focuses on large-scale decentralized machine learning (DML) over spatially distributed wireless nodes through device-to-device (D2D) communication. Relevant research topics include distributed access control, system-level performance analysis, communication efficiency and energy efficiency aspects of D2D-assisted DML.

As a doctoral student, you devote most of your time to doctoral studies and the research projects of which you are part. Your work may also include teaching or other departmental duties, up to a maximum of 20% of full-time.
