Assistant professor position at KTH Royal Institute of Technology.

Subject field

Machine Learning and Autonomous Systems

Subject description

Machine learning and autonomous systems are two interconnected areas of intelligent systems and artificial intelligence. The subject includes design and analysis of algorithms that learn from data, and systems that can interact with the environment, make their own decisions, and improve over time.

The work consists of developing KTH’s research and teaching in the subject area. The work includes supervising doctoral students and postdoctoral fellows and establishing research collaborations both within and outside KTH. The work also includes conducting teaching in subjects at the basic and advanced level at the Department of Intelligent Systems and at the Department of Computer Science; for example on courses in artificial intelligence and machine learning, as well as supervision of degree projects. Furthermore, the assistant professor is expected to collaborate with industry and society and to contribute to the activities of the WASP program and its national activities.
