Join the Community and Shape the Future

Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) is undeniably at the cutting edge of technological advancement today. ML and AI tools continue to influence contemporary society, and have driven revolutionary changes in both research and everyday life – transforming a wide range of fields, including healthcare, cybersecurity, and transportation.

Why This Workshop Matters

The impact of AI and ML is immense, and it is essential for all segments of society to participate in its development. However, multiple groups are currently under-represented within the field, including women and non-binary groups. The primary goal of the “Women in Machine Learning Workshop – Join the community and take part in shaping the future!” is to help reduce this under-representation, especially amongst early career researchers and Masters students.

Workshop Goals

The workshop aims to bring together early career researchers and under-represented groups, interested in these topics, to connect, gain inspiration, and deepen their understanding of AI, machine learning and the ongoing research in the field. It is a lunch-to-lunch event that includes talks, workshops, a tutorial, and networking sessions facilitated by Chalmers PhD students and industry representatives.

Who Should Attend

This workshop is specifically designed for:

  • Early career researchers in ML and AI
  • Masters students interested in machine learning
  • Women and non-binary individuals in STEM
  • Anyone passionate about increasing diversity in AI research

What to Expect

Our comprehensive program includes inspiring keynote talks, hands-on workshops, practical tutorials, and structured networking sessions. Connect with like-minded peers, learn from industry experts, and discover new opportunities in machine learning research and applications.
