WASP Academia and Industry Days takes its stance in the rapidly changing conditions for technology research and innovation. Join us to discuss and act on how we build successful collaborations between Swedish industry, academia, and societal actors.

While Industrial investments in AI in Sweden are at an all-time high, collaboration between academia and industry is vital to ensure a strong positioning of Sweden as a leading nation in the fast-moving global AI landscape. This conference is a call to action that will address visions, trends and needed national initiatives, as well as concrete and practical steps for synergistic academic and industry interaction and collaboration. Urgent topics and questions will be discussed and debated, such as:

  • How do we successfully accelerate research driven AI strategies for Swedish companies?
  • How do we lower the barriers further for academia-industry collaboration?
  • The Swedish AI job market is in flux and the need for newly graduated competences and PhDs is growing, how do we make the most of the opportunities created by WASP for talent and recruitment?

The event promises a compelling program with world leading keynotes and visionary talks, case studies, parallel workshops lead by companies, as not least opportunities for spontaneous bilateral meetings for PhDs and companies. Featuring some of Sweden’s most prominent industry representatives, decision-makers and AI-researchers, participants will get the unique possibility to shape the actions for Sweden’s AI readiness.
