International study visits

The WASP Graduate School arranges international study trips for PhD students in the WASP Graduate School. The trips head for interesting locations in Europe and further abroad.

WASP PhD students are also encouraged to arrange their own study trips abroad with funding from WASP. Often these self-organized study trips are arranged in smaller groups and in the later years of the PhD. The trips include university and company visits and include WASP-organized trips within Europe and farther abroad.

Building a career network

Study visits allow participants to discover and connect with research groups of interest. Apart from external contacts, the networking within the WASP PhD student group itself is an important goal of these trips.
