The Clarivate Highly Cited Researchers list celebrates scientists and social scientists whose work ranks among the top 1% most cited papers in their fields over the past eleven years, based on the Web of Science Core Collection.
Out of the global research community, only about one in 1,000 achieve this distinction. Selection is determined not only by citation activity but also through additional quantitative metrics, qualitative analysis, and expert judgment, ensuring that honorees demonstrate both significant and broad influence in their disciplines.
