Project description

You will be contributing to a research project that aims at developing the principles behind the next generation of computing systems, optimized for modern data-intensive workloads. The position is part of a WASP “Twinning project”. This particular position is hosted by Prof. Mikael Johansson’s research group at KTH, and a complementary position is hosted by Prof. Per Stenström’s computer architecture group at Chalmers University. Together, we will collaborate to explore how ML algorithms and computer architectures can be enhanced and radically re-designed for unprecedented efficiency and scalability.

We are looking for candidates with strong knowledge in applied mathematics and computer science. Experience from algorithm development for machine learning is desired. You need a strong academic track record, be analytical and independent, and have a passion for research and problem-solving.
