PhD student position in Robotics and geometric machine learning with the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at KTH.

Project description

The PhD student will work on robot learning and control algorithms that build on differential geometry and physics-informed priors to allow for data-efficient and safe robot motion generation and for robot manipulation with strong guarantees. We seek one candidate who has experience in control and/or machine learning.

Working experience with programming languages such as C++ or Python, a background in differential geometry, and experience with real robots and/or ROS is a plus.

The PhD student will work under Professor Mårten Björkman and Assistant Professor Noémie Jaquier.

KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm is Sweden’s largest technical research and learning institution and home to students, researchers and faculty from around the world.

This postdoctoral position is funded by Wallenberg AI, Autonomous Systems and Software Program (WASP).
