Cooperative autonomous systems concerns distributed dynamic control systems that can interact with the environment, make their own decisions and improve over time.
Duties
The assistant professor is expected to perform research in the subject field and teach in subjects at the department of intelligent systems. The work also includes supervising doctoral students and postdoctoral fellows, as well as establishing research collaborations both within and outside KTH. Furthermore, the assistant professor should cooperate with industry and society as well as contribute to the WASP program and its activities.
The assistant professor will be given opportunity to develop their independence as researcher and gain accreditation that may allow them to take other teaching positions with higher eligibility requirements (see Chapter 4, Section 12 a of the Higher Education Ordinance). Following application, the assistant professor can apply for promotion to associate professor in accordance with Chapter 4, Section 12 c of the Higher Education Ordinance.
