We’re delighted to invite you to the second workshop in our series on AI and Archives, a collaborative initiative between WARA Media & Language, WASP-HS and the National Archives (Riksarkivet).

The National Archives’ recently established AI-lab has developed valuable resources, including models and training data for transcribing Swedish historical handwriting and other machine learning applications. These tools offer significant benefits to both AI researchers focusing on model development and humanities/social sciences scholars employing digital methods.

Workshop Details
Date: March 28
Time: 13:00-15:00
Format: Online interactive session via Miro
Note: If you’re unfamiliar with Miro, please join 15 minutes early to familiarize yourself with the platform for optimal participation.

This second workshop will review findings from our initial session and identify collaborative projects for development. If you did not participate in the first workshop, you are welcome to join anyway.

We look forward to exploring the intersection of AI and archives with you!
