Anders Ynnerman selected as Wallenberg Scholar

Wallenberg Scholar is a program financed by the Wallenberg Foundations. It gives individual grants to a selected few of Sweden’s foremost researchers. This year Professor Anders Ynnerman, Linköping University, is one of them. The grant is given without premises with the aim to stimulate high-risk projects. In this case, Anders Ynnerman is planning to use the support for developing ground theory on visualization but also for certain applications concerning visualization of machine learning.

Anders Ynnerman is involved in WASP in several ways. He is a member of the Program Management Group, Research Strategy Group and International Management and Affiliation Group. From 1st of July 2019 he is Co-Director of the WASP program, and from 1st of July 2020 he is Director, see our previous news about succession within the WASP program leadership: https://wasp-sweden.org/coming-succession-in-the-wasp-program-leadership/
